June New Home Sales release a better release than last release and beated analyst estimation.

27 July before market open, ANR, HON and VZ released their earning report. ANR released a lower earning than last year release and missed analyst estimation. While HON and VZ released a lower earning than last year release but meet analyst estimation.

DJIA moved testing resistance at 9125 and moved down held by support at 9035 then closed at 9108.51.
NASDAQ moved testing resistance at 1975 and moved down held by support at 1945 then closed at 1967.89.
S&P500 moved testing resistance at 985 and moved down held by support at 970 then closed at 982.18.

  • May S&P/Case-Shiller Home Price Index will be release at 09.00 ET. Analyst estimate a better release than last release, but still in negative reading.
  • July Consumer Confidence will be release at 10.00 ET. Analyst estimate that release will hold at steady level as last release.
Earning Report
27 July after market closed, AMGN and CF released their earning report. CF released their earning better than analyst estimation but lower than last year release. And AMGN released their earning higher than last year earning and better than analyst estimation.
28 July before market open, X will release their earning report. Analyst estimate their earning release is lower than last year release.

Citigroup Q1 better than estimate, oil getting higher

Global Market Citigroup Inc. posted a $5.11 billion loss, less than analysts' estimates, and cut 9,000 jobs, it sending their shares higher and sparking a rally in U.S. stocks and the dollar. Citigroup reported $16 billion of writedowns and increased loan reserves as customers fell behind on home, car and credit-card payments. Their net loss of $1.02 a share compared with an estimate of $1.66 by analyst. Citigroup climbed $1.08 to $25.11. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index rose 1.8 percent and the dollar gained against the euro. Revenue fell to $13.2 billion, compared with analyst estimate of $11.1 billion. While the writedowns stuck their trading and investment-banking division revenue climbed in both the consumer and wealth-management businesses.
