27 April before market open, QCOM and VZ released their earning report. QCOM posted lower earning than last year earning and missed analyst estimate while VZ released a higher than last year earning and better than analyst estimate.

DJIA moved testing support at 7980 and moved up held by resistance at 8150 then closed at 8025.00.
NASDAQ moved testing support at 1665 and moved up held by resistance at 1710 then closed at 1679.41.
S&P500 moved testing support at 855 and moved up held by resistance at 875 then closed at 857.51.

  • February S&P/Case-Shiller Home Price Index will be release at 10.00 ET. Analyst estimate release will hold steady as last release.
Earning Report
27 April after market closed, BIDU and X released their earning report. BIDU posted higher earning than last year earning and beated analyst estimate while X released a lower earning than last year earning and missed analyst estimation.
28 April before market open, BMY, FPL, BEN and PFE will release their earning report. Analyst estimate BMY and FPL will release a higher earning than last month release, while BEN and PFE might released their earning lower than last year release.

Citigroup Q1 better than estimate, oil getting higher

Global Market Citigroup Inc. posted a $5.11 billion loss, less than analysts' estimates, and cut 9,000 jobs, it sending their shares higher and sparking a rally in U.S. stocks and the dollar. Citigroup reported $16 billion of writedowns and increased loan reserves as customers fell behind on home, car and credit-card payments. Their net loss of $1.02 a share compared with an estimate of $1.66 by analyst. Citigroup climbed $1.08 to $25.11. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index rose 1.8 percent and the dollar gained against the euro. Revenue fell to $13.2 billion, compared with analyst estimate of $11.1 billion. While the writedowns stuck their trading and investment-banking division revenue climbed in both the consumer and wealth-management businesses.
